VBS

Well it has been a busy week. We started out this week with a new contract on our house. So far, so good. We have made it through the home inspection this time. The couple that have the contract on the house are pushing for us to close on July 18. This means that as soon as we get back from the dude ranch in Colorado, packing and moving begin.

Other exciting news Madison has lost yet another tooth. She is so cute right now. She has also enjoyed going to VBS this week. The VBS she attended had 450 people this week. Her and Max were both supposed to attend but he has had a fever since Monday evening that did not allow him to participate. I think he has enjoyed some time alone with Mommy.

Cowboy Max

This week has been a fun week with the kids. I finally decided to give up the notion of keeping the house immaculate and squeaky clean. The results were being able to enjoy some fun time with the kids. One of the best thing is watching what the kids will come up with. They have such amazing imaginations. The best was Max with his shorts, cowboy boots, hat and sword. This is one serious cowboy. When you ask him about it, he will tell you he is ready for our trip to Colorado. The dude ranch trip is just around the corner and we have one little boy who is ready to go. Yee-Haaa!!

Fun in the sun

We went camping this weekend at Clifty Falls in Indiana. There was one way to describe our weekend - HOT! We had a great time and Madison lost her first tooth there. Another milestone to add to our adventure. Needless to say we were all wore out by the time we made it home yesterday. So, today I decided to spend the day at home trying to get back on track. Since it was such a hot day we decided that we would get out the water guns and the slip and slide. I found myself wishing that I was 4 or 5 again. I never got up the nerve to slip and slide myself. Maybe next time.

Here We Go!

Well as most of you all know we are moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana in August. I thought that I would start a blog so that we can stay connected to everyone. To officially kick off our sight I thought that I would put pictures of our new home. Since most of you may not be able to come and see it for a while I thought I would post it for everyone to see. I look forward to sharing our adventure with you all. Please check back for more posts in the future. This is not just a sight for the house but for our entire family.
